See What a Yabatech Artist Made Out from a Coca Cola bottles

A student of Yaba college of Technology (YABATECH) has created some truly amazing artwork using bottles of the popular soft drink Coca Cola.

In August 2016, Nigerian Bottling Company Limited (NBC), launched so ething called: 'The Coca-Cola Glass Bottle Competition' at YABATECH.

The aim of the competition was to drive creativity and engagement among youths. The competition was to create 3-dimensional artworks using empty Coca-Cola 35cl and or 50cl glass bottles.

It was conceived to create glass art to celebrate the Coca Cola bottle and it was open to students in the faculty of art, design and printing of YABATECH.

It was also a way to encourage environmental sustainability, recycling and youth empowerment, while connecting with communities on shared values.
Some of the amazing works created by a student have been shared on social media. Below are pictures of the sculptures created out of bottles:

This is not the first time Naij.com is celebrating the work of a YABATECH artist. About nine months ago, Naij.com visited the studio of another talented artist from the school, Oresegun Olumide.

Oresegun Olumide is a genius of an artist. The 2006 graduate who has a distinction studied painting from the department of Fine Art.
