Google Adsense is one of the most popular ways to make money on your blog but it is not your only option. In fact, relying solely on Google ads is not a good idea. What happens to your blog if for some reason Google suddenly suspends your account? It’s possible to have your account banned completely or if you’re new to blogging, you may even be having trouble getting your AdSense account approved. What happens then? If you find yourself in one of these scenarios, the solution would be to monetize your blog without Google Ads and here are a few options to help you accomplish that goal.

1. AFFILIATE MARKETING

Affiliate marketing requires you to market or offer other companies products or services to your audience. When someone buys the products or services that you’re promoting, you’ll receive a commission for that sale. When choosing this option, don’t just pick any product or service to promote.

Instead, look for something that you find interesting and that you believe your audience will be interested in as well. This will make it easier to actually make sales. You also want to choose products that offer between 10 to 20 percent commission so it will be worth your time to promote these items or services.

WRITE PAID REVIEWS

There are many companies ready and willing to pay you to write reviews for their products. Many of them will even send you samples of the products so you can try them out firsthand. The company benefits because it helps to generate traffic to their website and you get paid for your services.

When searching for companies that will pay you to write reviews about their products or services, stay within your own niche. It wouldn’t make sense for you to write a review about gardening tools when your blog is about parenting. The products you review should also be about something that would be beneficial to you and your audience.

OFFER YOUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES FOR FREE

Create a product or service that you can offer to your audience. The services or products you offer will depend on your specific niche, so you have to look at what you can personally offer your audience to determine what to sell. For example, if your blog is about parenting, then you can offer e-books with great parenting tips. If your blog is about web design, then you can offer online courses or coaching services that teach others about web designing. This tops our favorite ways to monetize your blog without Google.

DIRECT ADVERTISEMNETS

When you use direct advertisements, you’re basically cutting out the middleman. In this case, that would not be Google AdSense, which means that you will need to find advertisers yourself. It may take a little time and some work but you can make money with direct advertisements.

The way it works is that you agree to post an ad on your blog for a certain amount of time and the advertiser agrees to pay you a specific rate for the duration of that time. Some of the benefits include being able to display the ads where and however you want.

These four ways to monetize your blog are excellent alternatives to help you monetize your blog without Google Ads. They may require a little extra work on your part but it’s time well spent. However, it’s a good idea to focus on one method at a time. Once you have a steady income from one source, you can add another to keep from becoming overwhelmed.

At least five civilians were killed and several others wounded in an attack by suspected Boko Haram militants in southeast Niger, near the border with Nigeria, according to local sources. “The BH (Boko Haram) came to the market place Friday evening, they shot the crowd and took food,” said a resident of Toummour, in the southwest Diffa region, which was targeted by the attack. A local official on Sunday confirmed the toll of “five dead, all civilians”, adding that several were also wounded in the attack. Diffa governor Mahamadou Laoualy Dan went to Toummour on Saturday to “offer his condolences” to relatives of the dead and “encourage” the army who “routed” the attackers, Niger television reported. “We ask the people to hold on… 2018 will be a decisive year in the war against Boko Haram,” he said in front of Toummour residents. In January, seven Niger soldiers were killed and 17 wounded in an attack in Toummour, which is located in the east of Diffa close to the Lake Chad basin, a st...

Best Laptops for proggramming 2020

Image
Programming can be done on many different types of machines but many programmers want something more than just a basic laptop. Screen size is really important when selecting a laptop for programming. You'll get more on a 14-inch screen and higher than a smaller one (it's easier to read through code and make GUI adjustments. Of course, with a bigger display you sacrifice portability).   The best laptops for programming are much more than devices that can run code editors. While you don't necessarily need a powerful machine for programming on, spending a little more on a device with plenty of RAM and a modern multi-core processor can really pay off, as they are able to compile code much more quickly. And, the less time you have to spend waiting for your laptop to complete complex tasks, the more time you have to do other things – such as take on more projects. The best laptops for programming will help you test and run the apps, websites or games you've cr...
